At the end of July of 2014, a customer in Beijing got that we can produce the -40℃ battery and asked us to provide them 200 packs for High-speed railway communication equipment in very tight lead time.

 The requirements as following:

●  The rated Voltage 11.10V

●  -40℃ Capacity not less than 7.5Ah (discharge at 0.2C after 16 hours storage at -40℃)

● Impedance ≤100mΩ

● Charge mode CC/CV

● Charge voltage  12.60±0.2V (4.2±0.05V per cell)

● Standard charge current 3.2A (0.2C)

● The Max discharge current  8A (0.5C)

● The discharge cut-off voltage 9.00V

● Aluminum outer shell

●  The Max outer size 150mm(L) * 84mm (W) * 55mm (H)

   It is a very challenging project with high technical requirements, tight lead time and new -40℃ battery technics etc. that racked our brains. Particularly, customer changed the size from 150mm(L) * 84mm (W) * 55mm (H) to 150mm(L) * 80mm (W) * 44mm (H) and kept all other requirements same for the smaller size. After overcoming all difficulties, we accomplished the order in 2 months with customer’s satisfactory.
